The Sourcing Process
- Gather requirements and/or prototype sample from client
- Provide client with specifications and quotes from the best suppliers
- Client evaluates sample
- Make changes if necessary and finalize negotiations with supplier
- An order is placed. Payment terms depend on the project
- Production begins
- Shipment to nearest destination port
- Customs entry and clearance
- Domestic freight shipment to the client’s location
- Client provides feedback on the product and service and re-orders if necessary
