Our company is committed to making The Pasalubong Collection, the finest in Filipino-made home décor.
HISTORY
Pasalubong is a Filipino tradition that dates back more than a century. Simply stated, the term is a word meaning “gift” in Tagalog, the primary language of the Philippines. Pasalubong is often given when returning back home from travels and demonstrates that the traveler remembered loved ones while away. Gift-giving is a custom rooted in the Filipino’s inherent characters of hospitality and generosity. It is a time-honored tradition extended to family, friends and guests.
Today, Dock 7 International, LLC brings the tradition of Pasalubong home to the USA. Every beautiful end product is a blend of ingenuity, craftsmanship, and technology with a human facet. Each item is specially designed, handcrafted, and uniquely produced with materials indigenous to the Philippines. Our wholesale products include picture frames, jewelry boxes, vases, decorative bowls and more. Each item is made of natural materials such as coconut, banana, rice, and shell.

SALA-SALA FRAME
This style is made of "Paya"
or coconut palm that are
most endemic in areas near
the seashores. Its contents,
coco meat and milk has its
domestic and medicinal
uses while the coco shells in rural areas are often
discarded, if not made as"wood fire" in cooking.
These indigenous materials
were given a different
perspective when inlayed
and resin-laminated.

labhang (rice hulls) is the
outer covering of "Oriza
Satevea L." or rice seeds,
locally called "Palay".
Through research and
development, this raw
material is used as a
medium itself, or is
combined with sea shells,

twigs to produce a creative
fusion of materials with rich visual contrast.

MAHOGANY FRAME
This unique gift of "Mahogany
Fruit" comes from the family of
Dipterocarpaceace. Any of
several tropical hardwood
timber trees. It is a tall
evergreen tree with hard wood
that turns reddish brown at
maturity. The leaflets of each
large leaf are arranged like a
feather, but there is no
terminal leaflet. The small
white flowers are borne in
clusters, and the fruit is a fiveparted
woody capsule that
contains squarish, winged
seeds. These materials are
then inlayed and resinlaminated
to give it a finished
look.
